The top one (next to the pin) is the lace where I didn’t use pins in the plain net. I’m still working on
my tallies – as you can see. The bottom one is from the first 2 metres when I used all the pins. There is a difference
but if my family’s survival depended on the amount of lace I produced, not enough to matter. The thread is 120
